The Oriental Group started operations in November 2000 with its flagship restaurant, The Oriental in Jaya Shopping Centre, Section 14, Petaling Jaya. Its second restaurant, Maju Palace at the Maju Junction Mall was opened on July 2002, followed by Noble House Restaurant in January 2003. In August 2003, it expanded to Bangsar Shopping Centre, where its fourth outlet is located on the 3rd level named The Ming Room. The group’s fifth outlet, Yu Jia Village Seafood Restaurant opened in August 2005. Subsequently, Noble Banquet opened in September 2006. In June 2007, the group opened its latest outlet, Oriental Pavilion at Jaya 33, PJ. As a fast growing restaurant group with a premium reputation, specializing in Fine Cantonese Cuisine, it has established itself to be one of the top restaurants in each of the areas it operates. Patrons of the restaurants are given a different dimension to savouring the traditional Chinese fare. The infusion of artistic touches during food presentation and the use of the freshest ingredients have created a new wave in the restaurant industry.
